Exchange Street, Retford, Nottinghamshire, DN22 6BT

Having undergone extensive refurbishment, Kings Park Hotel and The Old Police Station Restaurant & Bar has emerged from what was once the town’s Police Station, dating back to 1890.

On the borders of Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the hotel is centrally located within the market town of Retford which is rich in history and culture and is one of the oldest boroughs in England.

Our bedrooms are contemporary styled and are en-suite. Several rooms have views over the Kings Park, which the hotel is named after and was opened on 29th June 1938, to commemorate not only the reign of King George V, but also the Coronation year of King George VI.

You can relax and participate in one of the many ranges of tea and coffee whilst watching the large flat screen tv or connecting your device to the internet via the free Wi-Fi.

Dining is in The Old Police Station restaurant and bar where the chefs rustle up daily mouth-watering modern British cuisine and will do their upmost best to accommodate requests.

For something a little more unique, why not opt to dine in one of our two original cells which are in addition to the 30-seat restaurant.

We are under 1 mile to Retford mainline train station.  The A1, M18 and M1 motorways are within easy reach and there are excellent travel links to Doncaster Sheffield airport which is 30 minutes away.
