FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How far in advance can a reservation be made?
There is no limit. You can book on-line or contact us direct. 

Do I get a hotel booking confirmation?
Yes. If you make a reservation directly with the hotel you will receive an automated reply via our ‘Welcome Anywhere’ system. Reservations made via travel booking sites, Booking.com or Expedia will receive a confirmation of booking direct from these companies but also a follow up confirmation from Kings Park Hotel.  

How do I cancel a booking?
Bookings made directly with the hotel and be cancelled by telephone or email. Travel booking site reservations require the cancellations to be made via the relevant site. 

Do you have a cancellation period?
Standard cancellation is 2 days prior to the day of arrival.  After that full charges will be made via the credit card details submitted at the time of booking. NB:Wedding party or function accommodation differs from the above therefore please ask for further information. 

What payment methods do you take?
All major credit and debit cards (Not Amex), Cash or BACS  

Is payment required in advance or on arrival?
Payment is required 2 days in advance of arrival. Please contact us if you would like to pay on arrival. 

How many floors are there and are they accessible by lift?
Ground floor and first floor which are only accessible by stairs

Do you have parking facilities?
The hotel does not have it's own parking facilities. There are 3 spaces outside The Old Police Station restaurant & bar which allow 30 minutes free parking between 9am and 6pm. Chancery Lane public car park is in walking distance of the hotel (DN22 6EU).

Is there an electric car charging point?
The nearest is a 2-minute walk away.

 Can I check-in earlier than 3pm?
Subject to availability on the day.

What will I find in the room?
Flat screen TV (Netflix available on account), fridge with bottled water and fresh milk, tea tray, towels, hairdryer and fan.

Do you have room service?
No, we would prefer that food and drink is not taken into the rooms.

Can I book a table in the restaurant before arrival?
Yes, please contact us by telephone.

Do you cater for allergies or food intolerances?
Yes.  If possible please advise us of your requirements prior to arrival.

Is there a children’s menu available?
Yes there is.

Is WiFi available?
We offer FREE WiFi.
